Unfortunately the ABC-TV crew that recorded this performance set up their microphone at the center of the stage - directly in front of the background vocalists Earl Wade, J. R. Bailey and Buddy Brooks. Although the audience can hear Earl Carroll's lead and Bobby Phillips' bass through the house PA system connected to their microphone, sadly we can't. Still for historical purposes and the opportunity to see the Cadillacs dance and entertain, I am sharing this 1956 performance of "Speedoo" from Dorchester, Massachusetts. Others have published this and overdubbed the original version of the song or the live version from the Alan Freed Camel Rock and Roll Party show onto the video. This is the original audio.
