🚴 Full Ride Along the Holmes County Trail – From the Bridge of Dreams to Killbuck 🚴

Join me for a complete ride on the beautiful Holmes County Trail, starting at the iconic Bridge of Dreams — one of the longest covered bridges in the country — and rolling through farmland, woodlands, and the quiet charm of Amish Country. We’ll pass through Glenmont and hop onto the brand-new trail extension that stretches about 4 miles up toward Route 520. At the time of filming, this section was just completed and now offers a smooth, scenic ride with plenty of wide-open country views. ⚠️ Important Note: The paved trail currently ends at Route 520. To reach Killbuck, riders must travel along the road. This section was recently tarred and chipped, leaving loose gravel, plus there’s fast-moving traffic and blind curves — so it can be dangerous. For most riders, the new 520 trailhead is a safe and perfect spot to end the ride until the trail is fully completed (planned for Fall 2027). Beyond Killbuck, the Holmes County Trail technically continues all the way toward Millersburg, but be prepared: much of that ride uses open country roads with VERY steep hills. It’s a challenging all-day adventure best suited for experienced riders who want to test their legs. This ride has a little bit of everything — history, scenery, wildlife, and a glimpse of the exciting future of Ohio’s trail system.
