New Mexico's 2025 monsoon season came to an end on September 30 with it being the 40th wettest on record. It was a fairly active season across the Land of Enchantment despite the northwest part of the state. Northwest New Mexico was the eighth driest on record with Farmington receiving just 0.75" of rainfall making it the fourth driest in history. KRQE Chief Meteorologist Grant Tosterud and Meteorologist Josh Redwine look back on 2025's monsoon season to see who was the wettest and how KRQE's forecast compared. The pair of meteorologists also look into some of the most notable weather events from the season. Some of the most notable events include the catastrophic flooding to sweep through Ruidoso in early July killing three and a record number of Flash Flood Warnings issued in the state of New Mexico.
