if you need to keep the outer shell from an old style (Hammerblow Corp) “un-rebuildable” Bulldog 12 jack - you can easily swap the innards with a new model. Mine was a 1994 and Bulldog used to make a replacement kit #500213 that had the necessary parts. They changed to a different style nut, as seen in the current (2021) rebuild kit, part #500217 and quit making the old nut. The mounting holes on my old jack weren’t even and rather than try and replicate the hole patterns with new mounting brackets, it seemed easier just to keep them.
