This was such an awesome match, mostly because Sableye had a chance at a runaway...and he normally doesn't get that, you'll have to understand. He's not actually much of a sweeper and I was certainly surprised that my opponent's Swagger turned so harshly against him...I'm used to getting shafted on all my confusion checks, honestly. But like all lucky streaks, mine would have to end sooner or later. Poor Sableye...doing his little dance and tearing himself a new one all the while. I had to cut out a segment of the video where I was doing nothing just to keep the length down, in case you were wondering what was up with that little skip in the action. This is also one of those cases where it would be far more beneficial if my Froslass had some means of causing a status problem instead of having all attack moves...I've actually come to expect her to become easy prey for a Sucker Punch these days, but that would require my opponent to know in advance that she couldn't avoid one. And here we have Shedinja's nigh hopeless gambit to keep things together. I knew I was almost certain to get Swaggered, based on the history so far during this match...but this would mean surviving two turns of confusion if I was to get in his shot. Sneasel may have resistance, but a first-strike attack quardupled in power would almost certainly overwhelm its shaky defenses...or so I had hoped and never actually got to find out about. At least it was my hope with that chunk of life missing and no chance for a Focus Sash to make victory impossible, I felt like I at least ought to risk it. C'est la morte...since the poor thing can't rightly be said to be enjoying "life" as we know it. It just goes to show you that Swagger can be funny like that.
