Last home game of the season, where a win would all but cement a 2nd place finish. Blyth needing points, precariously sat above the relegation zone on goal difference. So a 5-1 win for Scunthorpe has done nothing for Blyths relegation concerns. After watching them play you can see why they are where they are. They offered little, probably had 10 mins or so in the 2nd half. Where we let them play a little and have the ball. We then stepped up and dominated once more. When they got the penalty I was adamant the ref was feeling sorry of them. Having seen it back again. It could have gone either way, so I’ll stick with he was feeling sorry for them 😉😂 Good to see the board on the pitch with the players taking the plaudits 👏🏼👏🏼 “It’s been one hell of a rollercoaster” as James said. Without the new board we more than likely wouldn’t have been to enjoy that. So thank you to each and everyone of them, to the players/management who went through the mill as well. The fans for sticking by and helping the club with fundraising too. We’re all in it together 💪🏼 #UTI
