BouMatic Robotics presents the SR1: a fast, durable and efficient robotic spray system. The SR1 has the goal to prevent post milking infections of the cow's udder in a very precise way. The robot is integrated in your rotary milking system, but functions fully automatically. Risk of infection Udder infection (Mastitis) is a serious expense item for dairy farmers. We have specialised in preventing these infection risks so you should no longer worry about the well-being of your animals and to help you save a lot of costs. The result is the SR1. Working The SR1 is placed along the rotary milking system and consists of a hydraulic arm that automatically moves along with the cow. The spray arm approaches the cow from the back with the help of the newest 3D camera technique. When the cow can be approached in a safe way, the robot positions the spray tool under the udder and applies post dip to the cow. Spray system The unique spray system consists of two nozzles placed on an axis. The axis with the two nozzles makes a turn of 180 degrees while spraying. Applied under high pressure, it creates a cloud of spray surrounding the teat. This covers all teats with the disinfectant.
