This is a capture of me playing through the Hypersonic League Indium Cup in FAST RMX for the Switch. This is a downloadable title from Shin'en. I seem to have this unintentional tradition going back more than a decade now where I only begin uploading the most recent FAST game from Shin’en once a new Nintendo console is about to be released. I originally posted FAST Racing League for WiiWare in 2012 some time before the Wii U’s launch (later replaced by higher quality footage in 2014), followed by FAST Racing Neo for the Wii U in early 2017, right before the Switch’s launch. With the Switch 2 launch just around the corner, as well as FAST Fusion, I realized that I needed to get a FAST RMX playthrough posted before getting inevitably distracted with the new system and games. FAST RMX, as the name suggests, is a remix of FAST Racing Neo, but it has improved graphics, better controls, and some new content. I find it much easier to control than FAST Racing Neo, though the larger Wii Wheel is preferable to the tiny Joy-Con Wheel. Sadly, I didn’t play this game online all that much because of the lag and the default lowest speed setting (Subsonic). I suppose if Hypersonic had been made available for online racing, I would have done multiplayer a bit more. Still, it’s a fun game, and Shin’en is staffed by technical wizards who always pull off impressive graphics on Nintendo systems. I’m sure FAST Fusion will be stunning. In this video I completed the Hypersonic League Indium Cup using the Mueller PLS. Recorded with the Elgato Game Capture HD60 and the Switch's HDMI cable at native 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. I'm using a Joy-Con Wheel.
