S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 - Heart of Chornobyl #1,374: The Dogwoods

I left Yaniv Station on a rainy overcast afternoon. I went south to Yaniv Village, where I met some Loners and then searched some abandoned houses. The sun came out and the skies cleared as I went back to the west side of the village. I saw a couple of Corps walking by and met anotehr Loner. There was gunfire and I went into the swamp where I shot a Bandit. When I tried to leave Yaniv Village, going south entering the Red Forest, I was jumped by a pack of Snorks. I decided to keep going and I took the road all the way until it ended, joining the main road that runs from east to west. I took it east, crossed the bridge and soon arrived back at the Pile Driver, as there was a gunfight between Loners and Bandits. I looted the dead and climbed the elevator shaft for a better view. Snorks came out of the woods and attacked the Loners below. When I went back down, several Loners had been killed. My HUD went red and I went around the building looking for the threat. Right as I went back inside, I was shot at, so I climbed the stairs and waited for the shooter. A Mercenary appeared below and I shot him with my Zubr-19. I was able to grab his shotgun, but a Loner beat me to looting the body. It was getting late in the afternoon, and I had to decide if I was going to run back to Yaniv Station. I decided to take the main road going back the way I had come. After I crossed the bridge, I took the road going north back to Yaniv Village. About halfway up the road, my HUD detected a couple of bodies in the woods to the east. I went into the trees and realized there was even more dead bodies, and I found two dead Pseudodogs. Now I know where the Psuedodog had come from, the first time I had gone this way. Luckily they were dead. I looted everyone and then my HUD went red and someone yelled out. I was guessing it was most likely a phantom Zombie so I turned and ran back to the road. I was really overloaded and it was really getting dark, as I passed through Yaniv Village and soon arrived back at fenceline of Yaniv Station, where I found several dead Bandits and Loners that I looted. I got so overloaded I had to drop some vodka and beer just to move again, going inside to sort my loot. Game Note:
