After reviewing 20+ pizza ovens to date, I still use the Ooni Koda on a regular basis for Neapolitan style pizzas. The intense L-shaped gas burner puts out a lot of heat and cooks a bigger portion of the pizza at one time compared to other pizza ovens. The huge cooking surface also allows you to fine-tune placement. I cooked up a lot of really nice New York styles in this oven, but I like to use a pizza screen/disk since space is limited when launching that large of a pizza. Lloydpan is a fantastic USA made company that makes some of the best pizza equipment in the world, especially Detroit pans. OONI KODA COVERS: You definitely want a cover for this when it's not in use. You can buy Ooni's branded cover for ~$50 or so, but I like to use a cheap backpack cover.
