World Record at the time of recording Rank F kind of caps off the first "Act" of the game, so it seems to be what the community is pushing for for a smaller category than full Any%. This run isn't just "the first 2 hours of Any%" though, and comes with its own set of optimizations that we can take advantage of because of the end time We still use Bois the Heracross, because of course we do, but we need so much less help from others (just using them for Battle Zone bonus cards). Unfortunately, we don't really get to do any Mega Evolution in this run, since it ends RIGHT before we get access to the Heracronite, but that also means we don't need to do any shard collecting 1:3x is definitely on the table. This was the first run I've done with a new candy route, and my start wasn't the best either. I'll definitely push for that in the coming days/weeks and see how far we can take this one Also, I'm not done with Any%. I haven't done an attempt since my 6:49, and there's been a TON of route improvements since then (WR is a 6:34 right now).
