2004 : Big Pharma Launch

I was a music director, drummer, band leader, and composer for large corporate events (mostly big pharma) from 1996 - 2016. This launch of "Lunesta" went exceptionally well. We were getting standing ovations from the audience. The brass asked if I could produce a CD for everyone in attendance (about 2500). Cost wasn't an issue, but time was. I produced this at my home studio in just a few days. I didn't have the gear I have now, was a fledgling engineer, at best, but captured some good performances. Here are my 3 favorite tunes off that 8 song CD. The first track "Itaparica" was written by Michael Hakes (Natalie Cole, Edgar Winter, Brenda Russell) He was my regular guitarist up until his passing a year prior to this recording. We recorded it as an homage to Michael, and because we loved the song. The other 2 tracks are mine. A different arrangement of "Saints Over NYC" is on my China Ranch CD, and believe it or not was a favorite of the producers who were hiring me for these events.
