Even when you don't capture scenes in camera on a tripod while using a long exposure or don't set a slow shutter speed to pan or practice intentional camera movement (ICM), you can still simulate those looks in Photoshop by starting with higher speed color images. This video workshop presents two step x step demos showing how to do just that. Demo 1 shows how to achieve a long exposure look that could have been captured in camera. Demo 2 walks through a more abstract color fine art approach that mimics panning or ICM. Both demos use color landscape photographs as base images. But the effects shown can be applied to a variety of photographic genres (and, to monochrome images).
