Imagine being a failed archetype with cards that can facilitate an OTK or FTK, can special summon from the deck, and have a majority of cards with no hard once per turn effects and still not being a top deck. Somehow, Morphtronics managed to do that. If you’re not familiar with Morphtronics, it’s one of the early archetypes that debuted in the Yu-Gi-Oh 5D anime, belonging to Leo, who gave us the best moment in all of 5D when he became a Signer. We will not be slandering Leo, as he is the GOAT for making Life Stream Dragon look like a threat. However, there will be acceptable slander for Morphtronics, who, over time, went from a playable deck to falling off to the Shadow Realm.
