We can’t avoid the waste that produced while we did the mining activity. That thing surely could damaged the entire environment around the area. Even with Traditonal method of oil mining in Wonocolo, Kedewan, Bojonegoro district, we couldn’t reduce the waste producing. Aware for what will happened if anyone didn’t do something to make the waste useful, Rasemi, a 53rd years old woman, save her environment by taking all the waste (local people usually named it bladuk) from traditional oil mining site in Wonocolo. Rasemi being the one and only who did that. Rasemi is a woman who determined and has a fighting spirit to living her family life to the fullest. For almost 25 years, Rasemi become a bladuk finder. Firstly, she did that with her husband. Unfortunately, her husband is sick now and Rasemi has to did it all by herself. Now, Rasemi become the breadwinner for her family. Her Husband is really at the bad condition and need Rasemi’s full attention, in the other side, Rasemi have to go to find bladuk. This is become Rasemi’s life challenge and activity, everyday. Rasemi realize if water, air and land pollution could happen if people not processing the waste wisely. Due to that awareness, everyday after completing all the chores, Rasemi go to the river to take the waste and look around the mining area to find any kerak or kreng, an outcome when the petroleum being burned. All the waste that Rasemi took from her neighborhood, processed into solar or sold it to wholesaler. In the other way, kreng will Rasemi sell to buyer as a mixture to burn the coal.
