"At Home With the Auditorium" With Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater!
This past Sunday, Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater dancers Sammi Micklewright and Jonathan Pacheco went LIVE on the Auditorium Theatre's Facebook page for a virtual dance show! Micklewright performed the 2010 piece, "No Me Olvides / Do Not Forget Me," choreographed by Ensemble Español Artistic Director Irma Suarez Ruiz, as well as the 1976 piece, "Fandangos de Huelva," choreographed by Lola Montes. Pacheco performed the 2015 piece, "Nuestro Camino / Our Path," another dance choreographed by Ruiz, in addition to the 2020 piece, "El Aire Que Respiro / The Air I Breathe," which Pacheco choreographed himself. This installation is part of our "At Home With the Auditorium" series. Every Sunday at 6PM CDT, we’ll be streaming a live performance from one of the talented singers, dancers, and musicians from our community right into your home. #StreamingSundays #AtHomeWiththeAud
