An update based on work I did with a recent client... Apparently the video I created a few weeks ago with the "New Company File From Existing Company File" option is ONLY available in the Accountant Version. However, all is not lost, as I have discovered a work-around: you can create a new company file from an existing QuickBooks Desktop file using a non-accountant version of the software (in this case, I used QB Pro 2022). In this video, I show you what I did using the Restore from backup feature. The same advantages apply for clients wanting to use this method is to insure consistency of certain lists for multiple company files (such as in the Real Estate industry, or any other clients managing multiple companies with separate EINs in QuickBooks Desktop).
