He was a well-known figure who was famous for his unusual methods of teachings and his crazy ways of singing songs which displayed absurd humor and sexual connotations. Due to this, he was eventually tagged as the Divine Madman. The story of Chimi Lhakhang states that Drukpa Kunley landed in Punakha with the aim of driving away a demon from Dochula. The Divine Madman created a “Flaming Thunderbolt Of Wisdom” and struck down the demon who had taken the form of a dog. The Divine Madman then went on to capture the dead demon in the form of a dog in a stupa and he uttered: “Chi Mi” which means “No Dog”. These symbols of Phallus are said to bring luck and prosperity which wards off evil and hence it is carved and painted on almost every building and structure in this village. ———————————— I am super active on social media, so let's chat there! :D 📸 Instagram: / visha.khandelwal 📕 Facebook: / vishakhandelwalofficial 🐦 Twitter: / vishakhandelwa2 💌 Business email: work.vishakhandelwal@gmail.com 🎬 Edited by me on Final Cut Pro X ———————————— MY VLOGGING GEAR : ● Canon G7X Mark II - https://amzn.to/2RbNlM8 ● GoPro Hero 7 Black - https://amzn.to/2ufr47p ● Manfrotto Mini Tripod - https://amzn.to/2TIIrrL ● MacBook Air - https://amzn.to/3aui9iX ● OnePlus 7T - https://amzn.to/39aGvNi ● Gorillapod - https://amzn.to/2sK9Ka9 ● Microphone - https://amzn.to/2NNvzgl ● Hard drive 1 TB - https://amzn.to/2ugfZTB ● Hard drive 2 TB - https://amzn.to/2tEv3dt ● Wind Shield - https://amzn.to/31OamIS Disclaimer: Some of the links are affiliate links, which means if you use that link to buy something, I get a small kickback at no extra cost to you. :) ————————————
