Nothing makes me feel like a stupid kid again more than standing out in the rain watching cool trucks and cars go by haha. Seriously though I fondly Remember going to Truck Shows and Car Shows and never once looking at the weather..........LST 2025 brought back those great memories. I started out planning to drive the Corvair Van to LoneStar Throwdown, but Texas decided to get ridiculously cold and it the Van doesn't have a Heater(or A/C for that matter) So we trailed down Thursday to set up in the Octane and Iron Booth where I couldn't have asked for a better parking spot. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend Great Car/Great Trucks/Great Friends even with not so Great Weather. Lonnie, Radar, Jarrod, and all the crew deserve a big round of applause for another killer event, and also want to give a shout out to the great judges who stood around all weekend judging the 2,000 entries. This video is going up Saturday so not quite sure who won BAE the Best of Show Trophy but Im glad Im not having to judge. I feel like it will be between Lakesides C10 that was the talk of Dinos Git Down this past Year and Eds 56 Built by Classic Car Studio that was Last Years GoodGuys Truck of the Year Early and won Americas Most Beautiful Truck at the Grand National Truck Show.
