TYCO KING COAL Tycoscene Railroad Model HO Train Set - No. 7419 (1982) TYCO - GI JOE a real American hero electric train & battle set TYCO Chattanooga Choo-choo HO Train Set No. 7425 Super Turbo Train Super Turbo Train with Daredevil Jump Among the offerings introduced in 1982 by TYCO as a "Complete TYCOSCENE Railroad," this train set included the TYCOSCENE Layout Board (#7940) and the Operating Tractor Loader with Coal Load (#959). The King Coal train set was powered by an 0-6-0 Steam Loco dressed in Southern Railway green with yellow lettering and stripes (#257-76), red 50-foot Santa Fe box car, yellow 40-foot Union Pacific hopper, Keystone Coal Co. dump car to work with the #959 accessory piece, and the red-with-white stripe and numbered "689" General Purpose streamline Caboose. The set also included TYCO's then-new standard Power Pack (#895) and 14-sections of track to build a 36-inch by 45-inch oval layout. For 1977, TYCO's Chattanooga line added diesel power in the form of a yellow-and-orange GP-20 heading up The Chattanooga Choo-Choo with the old fashioned sound of the steam whistle (No.7323) train set. The catalog boasts, "America's favorite train. The Chattanooga Choo-Choo at a new lower price that almost everyone can afford." This 1977 set featured in addition to the Chattanooga GP-20 a Wesson Tank Car (No.315K); Baby Ruth Billboard Reefer (No.355C); Old Dutch Cleanser Center-Flow Hopper (No.358F); Jell-o Billboard Box Car (No.365A) and a yellow-and-orange streamline cupola Chattanooga Caboose (No. 327-15B).
