I recently fitted a 2 inch lift kit onto my Jeep Wrangler JK that's running 33 inch tires and I've put this quick review together about my initial on road experience with the suspension upgrade. I've run 2 JK's without a lift kit on 33" tyres now. While I've found them more capable than I expected, I was ready to bolt on some necessary components to build confidence that my undercarriage would miss more obstacles, and that my flares would be safe from damage! Overall I'm really happy with the lift kit, in handles great on road and sadly at the time of this recording we're in the middle of another lockdown so I'm unable to get the Jeep out off road. While I really do like the look of the lifted Jeep, I do a have huge soft sport for performance cars and I also really loved the no-lift look with the 33 tires I was running. In fact, while I was running without a lift kit I had many people ask me if I was running 35's instead! With the lift kit fitted the tyres do appear a little smaller and I was going to be lifting the Jeep any higher I would probably be fitting larger tires. But while this Jeep is a daily we won't be going larger. So unfortunately the only time it wasn't raining on filming day was right at the worst time of day to film so sorry for blasts of light and some over exposed shots.
