Quick and easy cheeseburgers in your instant pot. Less time. Less mess. A classic burger in just one pot. Shopping List: 1/2 lb. ground chuck 80/20 Kosher salt, course black pepper, garlic powder and minced onion flakes to taste. 1 cup water Iceberg lettuce, red onion slices, tomato slices, dill pickle chips. Mayo Sesame seed hamburger buns Directions: Form the ground beef into a 1/3 lb. burger patty and season on both sides. Fold tightly in foil and place on a trivet. Optional: If you want a crust on your burgers, start with selecting the saute function and sear the burgers 2 minutes on each side then wrap and proceed as explained. Add the water to the Instant Pot and place the burger in the pot. Secure the lid and move the pressure switch to the seal position. Press pressure cook or manual then use the +- buttons to adjust tp 10-12 minutes cook time. The pot will preheat for 5-7 minutes then the cook time will begin to count down. When the cook time turns to zero, let the pot naturally release for 5 minutes. The release clock will begin to count up. After 5 minutes, move the pressure switch on the lid to the vent position and allow the pot to release the remaining pressure. When the pressure valve pin drops, it's safe to the remove the lid.
