Sometimes even the best laid plans go awry. Even though I'd properly prepped the surfaces of my end dump trailer; the winter temps froze the load into the trailer and wouldn't slide out. So what started as a vlog style video, turned out to document an uncommon (for us) problem that go solved as a team effort. My gratitude for selfless co-worker Lawrence, and for the awesome crew at Alter Metals is enormous. In this video I'll show you what we do to prevent frozen loads from happening, what's dangerous about it, and how I solved the problem. Frameless end dump trucking can be very dangerous and has it's own set of "rules-of-thumb" to abide by.
