[WATCH IN HD] ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I know, I'm so late to the party. I wanted to make this video ever since I watched this movie in January but I never really had the time. I guess I wasn't into the idea back then. I felt like Nosferatu is somehow lacking. I'm not expert on vampirism. I only read like 3 polish novels about vampires and I know I have to read Bram Stoker in the future and catch up with all of the movies. The discourse around this movie was so funny. People call Count Orlock "toxic love interest" as if vampires for years weren't a metaphore of desire, disease, homosexuality, foreigners (basically everything that conservatives fear). I mean YEAH, a gothic movie about vampire won't have the healthies dynamics between predator and prey. Anyway, I knew this song was perfect for this movie. Von Franz even said that he's "an able tourist in this occult world" and at first I wanted to match this line with "a tourist in the waking world" but I wanted to focus more on Ellen. If this video looks weird its because yt banned it at first. So I had to zoom in some clips to not risk a second strike.
