This video has two basic matches I played with the LV1 Pale Rider VG on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 450 cost general with great ranged damage, great melee damage, outstanding build stun capability and access to the HADES ability boost. Its weaknesses are that it lacks instant stagger without charging and that it lacks forced injectors until HADES activates. I feel like both of these matches went amazing overall despite the first one ultimately being a loss and my allies being a bit passive in the second one. I hope though that they demonstrate how this versatile suit can excel regardless of the situation or of how aggressive your allies are. I hope that you enjoy watching! The Pale Rider VG can choose between the giant bazooka, MMP 80 GN or the Gelgoog J beam machine gun for its primary weapon. The beam machine gun has 500x3 (2400) power, 15%x3 (85%) heat, 1 second cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 500m (650m) range, 4 seconds focus time and 20%x3 (50%) stagger value. This has excellent stun build ability, long range and powerful charged shots. The uncharged burst combos excellently into the arm beam for extremely quick build stun and good damage. Its primary weapon is a pair of naginatas with 2000 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap and 80%x2 downswing modifier. The base power is average but the downswing has amazing power with fast start up and long range. It is fast enough to connect after a knockdown as well, unlike other two part downswings. Its first sub weapon is a common enhanced vulcan gun with 80 power, 30 ammo, 450 RPM, 2% stagger value and 595 DPS. You have no reason to use this when your other weapons exist for damage and stagger. Its second sub weapon is an arm beam gun with 200 power, 10% heat, 300 RPM, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 200m range, 1000 DPS and 20% stagger value. This staggers in just one second on its own but can also be combo'd from the beam machine gun to stun at roughly the same speed while increasing total damage and decreasing the amount of heat used. If you ration it correctly, you will constantly be outputting staggers and consistent damage. Its third sub weapon is a leg missile pod with 350 power, 12 ammo, 450 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 350m range, 2590 DPS and 5% stagger value. These won't stagger but have insane power and fast reload time. You can use these after a stun or after an ally downswings somebody for huge damage. The Pale Rider VG has 16000 HP, 13 ballistic defence, 18 beam defence and 17 melee defence. This is fairly average for this cost but you become somewhat squishy once HADES activates. You also have 130 walking speed, 200 boosting speed, 65 thrust and 69 turning speed. This is pretty average for the cost apart from lacking forced injectors until HADES activation. The true star of the show in terms of its skills is the LV1 HADES Ability Boost. This is activated via the touchpad and grants +25 shooting modifier, +25 melee modifier, -5 to all resistances, +10 to walking/boosting speed, -35% thrust consumption, +36 turning speed, LV2 Emergency Evasion and LV1 Forced Injectors. It only lasts for 75 seconds but you have absolutely off the charts mobility and damage while it is active. The suit is strong without this but proper timing when using the skill can tip this suit over to being borderline overpowered. Your skills are all standard for a 450 general apart from that. You do have LV1 Instant Thruster Precision System to tackle twice so you effectively get a second chance when counter tackling. Overall I think that Pale Rider VG is an extremely underrated suit for 450-500 cost. The ability to constantly disrupt the enemy with practically unlimited build staggers and high damage makes a good one a real nightmare to face. This is especially detrimental to enemy raids which have their maneuver armour practically instantly broken. In my opinion, it is in the top 3 for 450 cost generals. It can't form a frontline as well as GM III Powered or Gelgoog Stutzer can, but one of these on the team can amplify the output of your allies through stun support and capitalizing on knockdowns. For the moment it is RT/gacha exclusive but I would heavily recommend you learn it if you have it. Thanks for watching and I hope that you enjoyed it!
