Our final Satellite Session of 2023 is full of festive carols, but maybe not quite the ones you’re used to hearing this time of year. It’s Athens Mountain Singers – Amy, Jesslyn, Alys, and Camp Amped instructors SJ, Claire and Lydian – singing European folk tales of moon dances, fair maidens, singing cuckoo birds, and… flowering peppers? Thanks for watching the Fall ‘23 season of Satellite Sessions. We’ll return in the spring with another batch of episodes featuring a whole new lineup of exciting artists, so stay tuned! Satellite Sessions are a series of intimate mini-concerts recorded at Nuçi’s Space’s Amplify Studio featuring some of the best local artists of every genre, old and new, from in and around Athens, filmed and archived for you to view at your leisure. Nuçi’s Space’s maintains a health and resource center for musicians, with affordable rehearsal spaces and a recording studio, in support of its mission to prevent suicide, alleviate the suffering for those living with a brain illness and end the stigma of mental illness.
