Variegated Prayer Shawl

Weaving a Prayer Shawl for the St Mary's Prayer Shawl Ministry group. So as I explain in the video my church has a group of, until I showed up last month, ladies who knit and crochet shawls for folks who are home bound or in nursing homes. I decided that I would like to make a few shawls for that group, but I don't knit or crochet, so I made a woven shawl. Here is that first "prayer shawl". Basic rules for prayer shawls: size about 2 ft wide by 5 to 6 feet long. no loose fringe must be machine washable not wool, too many people are allergic. (follow up note - I brought this shawl to church this evening and it met with great reviews. They loved the colors and the way the variegated yarn made various patterns with just plain weave [tabby].)
