This is part of my recreation and expansion of the original Game Boy Advance OST for DKC3 by David Wise. Inspired by Jammin' Sam Miller and his soundtrack restorations of the original SNES trilogy, I'm aiming to do a similar treatment for this version of the game, but with modern virtual instruments. I mean to expand upon the song arrangements so they build a bit more and don't just loop or fade out. The point of this soundtrack was not just to bring the GBA OST into a realm of accessibility, but also to continue to adhere to the atmosphere present in the SNES version of the game, as it is the platform that currently has the ability to swap out in-game soundtracks in ROMs for high-definition music. Cranky's Dojo theme's instrumentation would not work at all for Swanky's Sideshow, but with a little tweaking, the melody sure does! Also, I took a lot of liberties at the end of the song when I cobbled together my memory of a brass quartet's little tune played at the circus when I was a kid. So that part that you don't recognize at the end—that's what that's about. I'm gonna upload the rest of the soundtrack—bosses, credits, extras in a really quick-and-dirty fashion so I can finally have it all available in a completed playlist for everyone. Stay tuned!
