My name is Rene with Reality of Aging and today's subject is going to be on why V8 isn't as healthy as they say it is. The number one reason why V8 Juice is not as healthy as they say it is, is that the fiber that is in the vegetables is extracted from the juice, so you're only left with basically the components, the fluid that is in the vegetables which, in turn, is not a bad thing. But, in combination with the fiber, that's really where the benefit is. There is no real benefit to drinking juices. There is more of a benefit -- when we use the word health, I would like to directly associate that with the healthiest thing you can do for yourself which would be green vegetables. That is healthy. Turning green vegetables into juice is not as healthy as eating green vegetables and that is the fact of the matter. So, when you see the V8 commercial, don't be duped into believing because you're taking V8, you're getting what you need. You're not getting what you need because you need fiber every day. Your intestinal tract has the immune system. 80% of your immune system is in your intestinal tract. Where you absorb nutrients is in your intestinal tract. The thing that cleans this is fiber. V8 Juice has no fiber in it, and that's how simple it is. So, if you really want good health, eat the green vegetables, forget about the juices and you'll be that much better for it.
