The RCSD & Board of Education present the 37th Annual Black History Month Celebration on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. This year's theme is 100: A Century of Black History Commemorations Celebrating 100 Years of Black History, A Legacy That Built The Past and Inspires The Future. Reception 5:00 PM Student Performances 5:15 PM Awards Program 5:30 PM The Rochester Board of Education and Superintendent Dr. Eric J. Rosser are excited to celebrate Black History Month on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.  The event will begin with a reception and performances at 5:00 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 5:30 p.m. It will be held at the Central Administrative Offices, Conference Room 3A/B, located at 131 West Broad Street, Rochester, NY 14614. Each year, students in the Rochester City School District are recognized for their exceptional academic accomplishments, community service, and leadership. During the event, we will honor several special awards, including nearly 40 High Academic Achievement Award, the Volunteer Youth Award, and the Community Service Award. We extend our congratulations to our scholars for their dedication to education and academic success.  A heartfelt thank you to all parents, family members, mentors, teachers, and staff for their continuous support of our students.
