It is snowing in the UK today and I took a walk through Fairford Town, Cotswolds in the Snow. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning and more snow is on the way and a yellow weather warnings for snow, is in force across most of the UK. Temperatures are expected to plummet to as low as -10C tonight. The name of the town is the modern version of its Anglo-Saxon name, Fagrinforda, which means fair, in the sense of being good, and ford, a place to cross a river. The River Coln flows rapidly from the Cotswold hills to the infant Thames, four miles away at Inglesham. *About My Channel:* I explore the English Countryside, brining you relaxing and calming walks around English villages and towns.
