Their movements are gentle and flowing, like the way leaves drift to the ground, blending the stillness of autumn with moments of quiet joy. As they dance, it feels like they’re sharing a secret with nature—a moment of peace, connection, and reflection. The choreography invites the audience to pause and breathe, to feel the calm and beauty of this fleeting season. In creating this dance, I fused Chinese classical dance with ballet footwork.
