Please excuse the awkwardness—I’m not a camera person and I’m running on about one hour of sleep thanks to a bad earache 😅 These sweet mottled Silkie babies hatched right around the New Years from ‪@SunsetHillFarmAL‬ , and I am absolutely in love! Thank you so much for trusting me with them—I’m so excited to add them to my flock! Quick backstory: while checking for pips, the incubator lid slipped and cracked one shell. It did get shrink wrapped, and after lots of candeling light, prayers, and careful help by the beak, that baby made it. Two days later fully absorbed and OUT. He or she is a true little miracle Not something I ever recommend, but sometimes emergencies happen.
