(vlog 73 / 10 june 2022) Mexican Churches (part i) / Oaxaca Centro Historico In this week's travel vlog, I am in Oaxaca Mexico where we visit the Mexican churches near the Zocalo in Centro Oaxaca. I was in the Oaxaca Centro Historico during a political rally for the election of governor in this Mexican state. It gave an interesting backdrop as we visited la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, the Parroquia de San Juan de Dios, the Templo de la Compañia de Jesus, and the Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzmán, seeing examples of Spanish Baroque and Rococo architecture, and the patio courtyard of a working monastery. In this tour, we explore the history and culture of Oaxaca, in one of the best places to visit in Mexico and the world.
