Hey! OMG I can't believe I am trying this: Welcome to my...vlog about rigid heddle weaving! I also outline 5 qualities I look for when I assess my weaving projects and guess what? None of them discuss perfection or complicated shaft work :) Please note, I am SO new to this and I am not a teacher, so if you find me a little meandering and confusing-it is all my fault. Hopefully, we will get to everything I am trying to talk about eventually in future episodes and my ability to speak on camera will get better. Sometimes you just gotta start, you know? I also make some generalities about weaving culture in America and shaft looms that may not represent your experience- this is how I perceive weaving traditions as a white, middle-class, American rigid heddle weaver in the current guild culture.
