New Lowe’s Tool Deals This Week | What’s Worth It (and What Isn’t) Well, would you look at that — we’re back together again for the second time this week, and as always, it’s a pleasure. In today’s video on Tools with SoAlz, we headed over to Lowe’s to see what new tool deals have landed and what kind of value is actually available right now. Coming out of the fourth quarter, expectations always need to be realistic — and that’s exactly what this walkthrough is about. This isn’t a hype video. It’s a reality check so you know what’s worth your money, what’s just average, and what you can comfortably skip. 🔧 Craftsman Deals — Decent Value, Familiar Territory We started with Craftsman, where Lowe’s continues to lean heavily on familiar bundle pricing. We found multiple Craftsman items grouped around the $99 price point, including: A circular saw A 3-inch cut-off tool A wet/dry vacuum A speaker A choice between a 6Ah battery or a 4Ah battery with charger For homeowners and light DIY users already invested in the Craftsman platform, these aren’t terrible buys. They’re not groundbreaking deals, but they’re serviceable if you’re filling gaps or starting fresh. We also noticed markdowns on Craftsman Overdrive mechanics tool sets, which is one of the more interesting bright spots. These sets are clearly positioned above basic Craftsman hand tools and aimed more toward serious DIYers and light professional use. Seeing those come down in price is a positive move. ⚡ DeWalt — Name Recognition, Modest Savings Moving into DeWalt, we saw several tools priced at $129. These included items like: A DeWalt speaker A car vacuum Two 4Ah batteries A handful of other accessories and light-duty tools These weren’t particularly memorable deals — and that’s important to say honestly. DeWalt’s name carries weight, and people will buy DeWalt simply because it’s DeWalt. But from a value standpoint, these are average post-Q4 prices, not must-buy moments. There was, however, a notable BOGO tied to DeWalt’s new cordless 12-inch dual-bevel compound sliding miter saw. At $699, you get a free 8Ah tabless battery. For buyers already considering that saw, the free battery adds real value — especially given how expensive high-capacity batteries have become. 🔵 Bosch ProFactor — The Best Deal in the Store The most meaningful deal we found today came from Bosch. Bosch has kicked off a new ProFactor BOGO, and it’s a solid one. If you purchase one of the following ProFactor tools: High-torque hammer drill High-torque impact wrench 7-1/4" ProFactor circular saw Bosch Bulldog rotary hammer You receive an 8Ah ProFactor starter kit — battery and charger — for free. From a performance and value perspective, this is easily the strongest offering we saw at Lowe’s today. Bosch ProFactor tools are serious professional-grade equipment, and free high-capacity batteries make a meaningful difference in total cost of ownership. 🧠 Context Matters — Why Deals Feel “Underwhelming” It’s important to put this video into context. We are just past the fourth quarter, which is hands-down the best time of year to buy tools. Black Friday, Christmas, and year-end clearance are over. What you’re seeing now is the cool-down phase before the next major buying window. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing worth buying — it just means expectations need to be adjusted. This is the time to: Fill small gaps Grab platform-specific add-ons Watch for early BOGOs Plan ahead for Father’s Day, which is the next big savings event 🎯 The Bottom Line Overall, the Lowe’s deals this week weren’t terrible — but they weren’t great either. That’s normal for this time of year. Craftsman had a few reasonable bundles, DeWalt leaned on brand recognition, and Bosch ProFactor clearly stood out as the best value on the floor. This video is about helping you buy smarter, not louder. If the deal doesn’t make sense, we’ll say it. And if something is worth your money, we’ll call that out too. That’s how we help people keep more of their hard-earned cash — and that’s what this channel is about. 👉 Join this channel to get access to perks: / @toolswithsoalz If you want next, we can: Turn this into a “Why Deals Slow Down After Q4” explainer Compare Lowe’s vs Home Depot deal pacing Build a Father’s Day buying roadmap Or isolate Bosch ProFactor as a standalone deep dive
