How to clean PCBs and when to solder water-sensitive components? In this video I explain the correct PCB cleaning and soldering sequence to avoid damaging buttons, displays, connectors, rotary regulators and other electronic components that are sensitive to water, cleaning liquids and solvents. Many electronic components installed on printed circuit boards are vulnerable to liquid penetration inside their housings. Water, cleaning chemicals and solvents can cause internal corrosion, oxidation, short circuits and mechanical damage to resistive layers, friction contact surfaces or sensitive layers. This is especially critical for buttons, rotary regulators, microphones, speakers and other mechanical or semi-sealed components. In electronics manufacturing, PCBs are first assembled, soldered, inspected and fully cleaned without installing water-sensitive components. After washing and drying, sensitive components are soldered manually or using soldering equipment, and only their solder joints are cleaned locally. This sequence significantly reduces the risk of internal damage and premature failure in real operation. Understanding the correct PCB cleaning and assembly sequence helps prevent corrosion, electrical failures and long-term reliability issues in electronics manufacturing and repair. 💪 Ultrasonic PCB Cleaning Video: • Ultrasonic Cleaning for Electronics PCBs: ... 💪 Cleaning PCBs: • Cleaning PCBs After Soldering – No More Fl... 💪 Patreon: / electronicspcb 💪 Diamond Flux Soldering Flux: https://express-24.io/ 00:00 Why Cleaning Liquids Damage Electronic Components 00:32 Proper Steps for PCB Cleaning and Soldering 02:03 Which Electronic Components Can Be Cleaned with the PCB 02:30 Components That Should Not Be Cleaned by Immersion Method 03:11 Conclusion #pcbcleaning #electronicmanufacturing #soldering
