Jake’s family is planning to move to New York City, but before they go, Jake writes a farewell note that was for Daisy originally since she would listen to Jake, but Hailey finds the note instead and after reading for herself, is filled with guilt after running from him because of the audio, Hailey hurriedly heads to the airport where she and Zander find Jake about to board his plane, Zander and Hailey do their best to persuade Jake not to Go, but Jake spits out harsh truths about friendship, therefore he leaves with Hailey exploding into tears, Zander is riddled when Jake points out things that Zander had wished for in the past, 3 years later, Hailey is older, and she visits New York only to find a very old friend, and this time, Hailey is determined to stay with him till the end of time.
