Welp, that's the final map of crumpets. A little bit of a shame that it's not the hardest so far, but it makes up for it by being one of the most fun in the wad. The archvile jump strat feels super good to pull off, and the map gives you lots of health. Another really fun thing that I didn't do this time was that you can make the archviles at the red key easily infight with the chaingunners if you can't bfg both of them within one zap (if that makes sense, I just woke up ok?). And the final fight? I'm so glad the wad goes out with a bang, super fun and super satisfying. Also the invisible staircase at the end is cool. About the wad, it's the best introduction to Ribbiks' work. If you just beat a more casual wad like Valiant, Ancient Aliens, or even Plutonia, and you wanna get into some harder wads, this is the best gateway. It will set you up for wads like Sunlust very nicely. All the maps look great, and fights are all electric. My final verdict: it's Ribbiks, but easier. What more could you want?
