NOT TODAY (Short film about Suicide Prevention)

This short film NOT TODAY aims to raise suicide awareness. It was released on World Suicide Prevention Day #WSPD2020. My goal was to address the topic in a meaningful way, from the perspective of the sufferer, focused on the determination to fight another day. I didn’t want an advert or a PSA, I wanted storytelling, coming from inside the mind, and include some concepts such as the drop that spilled the glass, never giving up, and so on. It is an experimental film for me, which I shot in just a few hours with a simple mobile phone. A couple of actor friends in front of the camera brought in the performances (Anthony Roussel as the main character, supported by our big boy Semiquaver Iafeta throwing the punches).
