(31 Jul 2009) SHOTLIST music/video/performance rights must be cleared AP Entertainment London, 30 July 2009 1.Wide pan of Abby Road studios 2. Wide of people crossing zebra crossing outside studio 3. Close up of writing on the wall to zoom in to Abbey Road studio entrance 4. Wide of recording studio 5. Wide of orchestra playing 6. SOUNDBITE (English) Ricardo Fernandez, general manager Geffen records: ''The album, it's pretty much the album of Pope Benedict XVI, the current Pope. It's composed of eight tracks all of them featuring his voice. He is speaking in the majority of it but he's also singing in some of it. It also has the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recorded at Abbey Road, it also features the Choir of the Philharmonic Academy of Rome, which was recorded in St Peter's Basilica, in Vatican." 7. Various of inside recording studio and with recording of Pope's music playing 8. SOUNDBITE (English) Ricardo Fernandez, general manager Geffen records: ''These are either all speeches or masses that he's done in the past. And everything that he does is basically recorded so they are tracks that have been created from recordings provided by a company called Radio Vatican.'' 9. Various of Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recording music 10. SOUNDBITE (English) Ricardo Fernandez, general manager Geffen records: ''I don't think anything has been done quite like this in terms of a Pope putting out a record, there has been a record by Pope John Paul II, the preposition was very different there, about probably 12 or 13 years ago. I think it was more of an experimental record. It was the voice of Pope John Paul with something more hypnotic beats more studio driven. This is really a beautiful piece of music with an amazing choir and an amazing orchestra.'' 11. Various of orchestra playing music 12. SOUNDBITE (English) Ricardo Fernandez, general manager Geffen records: ''I think it could reach people that are not Catholic, maybe not Christian. There is an African composer as I mentioned before. And also it might be appealing to people who are into classical music. I think there's this really big element of classical arrangement there which, if you're passionate about that music, it might be appealing to you as well, beyond the faith sort of side of the record.'' SOUNDBITE (English) Ricardo Fernandez, general manager Geffen records: "The record will be mastered in the middle of August and we're aiming to probably have the first plays of the record in September outside of really the inner circle so to speak. I think as soon as the record is completed, the first thing that will happen is that we will get it to his holiness the Pope. Once it's approved then we will go ahead and let everybody else hear it. This is really...it will be through his consent that we eventually let everybody hear it." 16. Various of orchestra recording 17.
