I used 10% castor oil to help make the soap pliable. I avoided using Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter. The recipe was provided by Tatiana in the Soap Challenge tutorial. http://www.soapchallengeclub.com I used the BrambleBerry 9 Bar Unfinished Birchwood mold to make the rim soap slab. Cold process soapmaking has many variables and involves working with sodium hydroxide (NaOH, also referred to as lye). Lye and raw soap can damage your eyes and burn your skin.
