Today I’m talking about my most recent collection of embroidered hoops, namely the Canadian Lakes. This was a long term type of project for me as it took me nearly 4 months to complete it. Satin stitch is no joke, it takes so long! I embroidered 6 lake designs: Moraine Lake Lake Louise Peyto Lake Abraham Lake Bow Lake Maligne Lake I’m pretty proud of what I’ve accomplished with this project, I learned a lot and I hope you find this video inspiring in some way! This is all to show you that stuff can go sideways from time to time and especially in the arts, we just gotta learn to deal with hurdles and come out on the other side.
