The sad emotional 15s theme really kicked off. Inspired by a comment on that video, after about a week and a half of contemplation I decided to finally attempt it. Using the same chord progression from the 15s theme video (this time in A minor instead of G minor), I used the I Am The Doctor ostinato over this progression and voila. Because of this progression now being in A minor, astute listeners may recognise this progression from the piece Dumbledore's Farewell. This is actually a coincidence. I was actually inspired to use the progression from the song Resistance by Muse (most obvious at the end), and also the unreleased track 'Cutter's Death' by Neil Hannigan from the Primeval OST. All 3 of those songs have this progression. In fact listening in has a whole video on music using this progression (the lament bass). I Am The Doctor is a piece of music by Murray Gold from the official Doctor Who Series 5 soundtrack. I do not own this music. I do not own Resistance by Muse, by which this was influenced by. By extension I do not own Dumbledore's Farewell, which is a track with the exact same progression in the exact same key. I do not financially benefit from the use of this music.
