Well Apul uploaded a no damage in the 1000 Heartless hours ago, so of course I decide to keep trying until I do it myself. Fortunately, I actually got it within 5 tries this time. So again, this is probably the toughest fight you have to do so far, and it's also officially the mid point in the game. The reason it's so tough is because it takes two hits to die here. Sometimes a little bit more, but they attack in groups, so if you get hit once it could be a quick death. It seems a few people already know how this fight works, but let me just go over it again if you're having trouble with it. As most should know, while you do kill 1000 Heartless, there's not actually 1000 Heartless active. That would overload the game. So instead, they programmed it so only a smaller group of the Heartless are active, while the others are just "dummies", or so I believe. If you watch closely, such as when I Quick Run through the enemies, you'll notice some dissapear before I get to them. When you get too far from the Heartless, they are no longer active and may or may not dissapear, I'm not totally sure on that one. It seems they tried to program it so the active Heartless appear while you're not facing them too. So only the active Heartless can attack you. Meaning if you go too far from the active Heartless, you're safe temporary. But this doens't last long as the game makes another group of Heartless active. For more proof that there's not actually 1000 active Heartless, you can simply go to either one of the sides with the invisible walls. If you do, you'll notice there appears to be Heartless on the other side that you can't get to. So knowing all this, surviving the fight in general becomes a lot easier. So here are some tips. Do not keep grabbing the same brown Heartless. While that Reaction Command is awesome, eventually you'll get hit by another active Heartless, especially by the red lasers. So after using the Snag Reaction Command 2 or 3 times, Quick Run away to get to another group of active Heartless. If there are no brown Heartless around, use the Rising Sun Reaction Command. This is a great way to get away from the red lasers. Just MAKE SURE you Aerial Dodge after it, because the active heartless will sense you are above them and hit you before you touch the ground. Do not try to use Guard to block the knights attacks. You may get hit behind first without knowing it, where Guard won't help. Use Reflect instead, because right after a Rising Sun RC should pop up. So while I only have 3 classes this semester, I would like to warn you that this may or may not slow down my process in making videos. ---- Q: How do you stay Level 1? A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up. Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)? A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge. Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here). A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability. Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game? A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher. Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese! A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that. Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2? A: If you have the fat PS2, like me, get Swap Magic + a Slide Card. A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough. Q: Hey is this Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix?
