This show marks the beginning of our third year of bringing live storytelling to The Westport Library. Storytelling Sundays: Tales of Love features five powerful storytellers sharing true, personal stories about love in its many forms — romantic love, inherited love, complicated love, enduring love, and the kind of love that quietly reshapes us. Hosted and curated by ChaChanna Simpson in partnership with The Westport Library and Northeast Storytelling, Inc., this afternoon reminded us why stories matter. Because when we hear someone’s story, we understand them a little more. And understanding makes room for empathy.
