Europa Park is one of the most visited theme park in whole of Europe and in the top 25 worldwide. It won the best theme park in the world award called "Golden Ticket" nine times since its opening 50 years ago. Visiting this amusement park during the winter season. The beautiful lights everywhere, the Christmas market, projection mapping show and of course the famous Europa Park Christmas parade truly adds to the overall theme park experience. What truly stands out is the incredible theming of the park. Every section is designed with a different country in mind from France to Ireland, Iceland, Switzerland and so many more. Every ride is also themed to perfection from its facade to its queue and track. In terms of our favorite rides, we have a few! First of all I have to start with the Voltron roller coaster which is simply the best roller coaster I have ever been on. In terms of dark rides, two really stood out which are Arthure through the Minimoys Kingdom which is a family friendly hybrid between a roller coaster and a dark ride and Pirates in Batavia which was breathtaking! We also truly enjoy the Europa Park Holiday offerings which included a beautiful Christmas projection mapping show on the Eurosat, their historical Christmas market offering a good selection of food and trinkets and of course the Europa Park Christmas parade with Santa Claus, Ed and their friends. Overall, an amazing experience, our only regret was to not have stayed longer. One day at Europa Park is NOT ENOUGH! This is a world class theme park playing in the same league as DisneyWorld, Disneyland and Universal Studios. It might even be better than Disney...
