Light game fishing is a generalize term use by Japanese angler for saltwater fishing using fine or light setup. This type of setup is comparable to Bait fineness Setup (BFS) in freshwater fishing. Light game can be done in boat or land base. This type of fishing is not intended to look for the biggest size fish but small to medium. Light game fishing emphasis on "Click and Release" fishing when dealing with small coral species. This lead to small or minimum carbon and environmental foot print, through use re-usable terminal tackle and biodegradable plastic. The most important beneficial attribute of this type of fishing are introducing new and young angler about appreciation for nature, and getting to know multitude of marine species that reside in local or destination water.
