I've spent a lot of time thinking about the themes that connect them, and the ways their storylines mirror each other, to the point this video is something I flirted with in the past but never got around to. Yesterday I found out that the earliest concept for TFA actually had these two together, so I ended up tracking the development of the ways they almost ended up together for two of the three movies, and it honestly clicked to me why they probably have so much in common thematically, if the idea was baked into the earliest bones of both tfa & tros; and today, I remembered how I wanted to make this video. So cue me spending about three hours in a damerey fueled haze, showcasing my favorite things about this ship to one of my favorite songs. Regardless of how things may go in the future, to me, my perfect post-canon includes the two of them getting together. please do not leave any negative comments on the video!
