Join me as I take on an ultra long-haul journey with United Polaris Business Class from Sydney all the way to Newark, connecting through Houston — a routing I actually prefer over SFO or LAX for its smoother, easier transit. The Polaris seat remains a highlight, offering great comfort and excellent bedding that makes these long sectors much more manageable. The food, though, was just okay — definitely some room for improvement. Unfortunately, the crew on this flight didn’t seem very engaged and came across as indifferent, which was a letdown on such a long trip.
